“Échame la Culpa”, when translated into English, it highlights to “Put the Blame on Me”, is a song recorded by Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Luis Fonsi and American singer and songwriter Demi Lovato. The song was first released on Novemeber 17,2017 and On March 2,2018 an English remix of the song titled “Not on You” was released.
The song has reached its highest peak position as number one in many countries, and to name a few , Austria, Lebanon, Slovenia , Spain, as well as the top ten in Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Italy, etc. It backed up as number 46 in the Uk and 47 on the Billboard Hot 100. The New York times titled the song “a jaunty, celebratory number” and thus definitely worth the recognition. Others recognised the song through elements of “Despacito” with a turnout saying “its equally infectious and one cannot standalone go without humming its tunes and grooving to its victory beats. Few regarded it as “a welcomed refresher away from the ongoing Despacito takeover”, the monotonous melody has a much fresher refined version that is legit a treat to the ears.
The cinematography takes place in Lovato’s bedroom, before the duo meet up in an abandoned warehouse and hold a dance party. In its first 24 hours of release, the popularity gained was mind tripping as the video accrued more than 17 million views, a record for Lovato.
